Highlights of 2008

Late, but a recap of some favorite moments from 2008:

1. Getting married

2. Incident B

Incident A:
"Is that someones daughter?" -This guy, asking about me at the Operations Meeting
"No she works for the company." -My boss's boss
"Oh, I thought she was 14." -The guy, still talking about me

Incident B:
"Are you an attorney?" -This dude asking me if I was an attorney

3. Chiefs beating the Broncos in week 4

4. Reconfiguring our antenna to get 16 channels instead of 3, just in time to watch the Olympics

5. Meeting* Tony Gonzalez

*by "meeting" I probably mean being in the same Applebees as him while he does a radio show

Shout out to Ric our landlord

Thanks Ric for ironing some of my clothes yesterday. You came over to work on our furnace and while passing through the living room immediately spotted my sub par ironing technique. Fortunately, you decided to take the time to impart ironing dexterity. You ironed a few shirts and as a bonus included a brief pants demonstration. All while sharing stories of when you ironed in the dorm during college for just 25 cents/shirt (10 cent surcharge for starch).
